PURPOSE: An electronic device and a method of controlling the same are provided to input information or commands by a user through touch device. CONSTITUTION: A touch device(103) receives a second touch on a second point and a first touch on a first point. A control unit(105) is connected to the touch device. The control unit executes the function corresponding to the relative position of the second point. The control unit receives the second touch within a predetermined time in the state where the first touch about the first point is maintained from the first touch time. The control unit implements the function.
