The invention relates to a control device (1) for a transmission. Said control device comprises a pressure medium source (2), a pressure controller (8), mounted downstream of the pressure medium source (2), a sensor device (41) for determining the supply pressure upstream of the pressure controller (8), a first and second controllable valve device (18, 19), mounted downstream of the pressure controller (8), an adjusting device (35), mounted downstream of the valve devices (18, 19), for adjusting the transmission, said adjusting device having a first pressure medium chamber (39) that is connected to the first controllable valve device (18), and a second pressure medium chamber (40) that is connected to the second controllable valve device (19), the pressure medium chambers (39, 40) being separated by a movable piston (37), and an electric control unit (14) for controlling the controllable valve devices (18, 19). The invention is characterized by a consumption meter (45) for detecting the consumption of pressure medium and to a calculation device (44). The calculation device (44) is used to calculate a pressure signal which is representative of the pressure in the pressure medium chambers (39, 40), using the detected supply pressure, the known properties of the pressure controller (8) and the detected pressure medium consumption, and at least one of the valve devices (18, 19) can be controlled by means of the control unit (14). |
