METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A LINEAR BEARING HOUSING

The method involves applying cylindrical boreholes (2, 3) in a linear bearing housing (1), where diameter of the boreholes corresponds to a nominal diameter (D). A calibrating element (5) is pressed in a form of a ball through the cylindrical boreholes and made of steel and ceramic. The calibrating element is provided with a circular projection in a diameter slightly larger than the nominal diameter of the cylindrical boreholes. The ball is pressed through the cylindrical boreholes by adding lubricant, where diameter (DK) of the ball ranges between 100.1 percentage and 102 percentage. An independent claim is also included for a linear bearing housing comprising a roller element.
