PURPOSE: A bookshelf for protecting books using wood is provided, which can keep books clean by preventing distortion of books caused by wrong keeping. CONSTITUTION: A bookshelf for protecting books using wood comprises a bottom board of the bookshelf in which a groove is formed; a lateral plate of the bookshelf; and a back plate of the bookshelf. The thickness of the bottom board of the bookshelf is formed to be thicker than the conventional board in 5mm. Grooves are formed in 5mm depth and 3mm width. The grooves are arranged consecutively at the interval of 5mm and can keep books regardless of thickness of books.
