A resistance film type touch panel and a touch screen display device are provided to reduce the Newton ring, caused by the gap difference between an upper substrate and a lower substrate, considerably. On an upper substrate(11), an upper contact electrode(13) is deposited. On a lower substrate(19), a lower contact electrode(17) is deposited. In an elastic transparent adhesive(25), conductive balls(23) is regularly or irregularly mixed. The upper substrate and lower substrate are bonded by the elastic transparent adhesive. The diameter of a conduction ball is smaller than the height of the transparent adhesive. In the transparent adhesive, ball spacers is together mixed.
