An apparatus for recording a digital broadcast and a method for controlling reproduction by searching a final reproduction location are provided to perform reproduction from a final reproduction location of a recorded broadcast stream by only doubly inputting a reproduction key. A broadcasting storing unit(300) stores a received digital broadcasting stream. A broadcasting reproducing unit(200) reproduces the broadcasting stream stored in the broadcasting storing unit. When reproduction of the digital broadcasting stream ends, a control unit(400) records information about the ended location. When a reproduction command of the digital broadcasting stream is received after the recording, the control unit searches the ended location by using information about a recording end location. The control unit controls the broadcasting reproducing unit to reproduce the digital broadcasting stream from the searched location.
