An element spray method corresponding to the can communications problem in the vehicles is provided to maximize purification performance of the nitric oxide and to prevent environmental contamination. An element spray method corresponding to the can communications problem in the vehicles comprises according to the can signaling whether or not from the ECU(Electronic Control Unit), a step(S210) which whether the can communications was interrupted or not determines; a step(S220) which in case the can communications is interrupted, it determines whether the temperature/nitric oxide sensor normally operates; when the temperature/nitric oxide sensor abnormally operates, a step(S250) which determines whether the minimum spray control is set up or not; when the minimum spray control is set up, and a step(S260) spraying element according to the set up in advance minimum injection rate.
