<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricious coating useful for medical devices, and having ability to incorporate an antimicrobial compound into the coating, which may be released in a pharmaceutically acceptable pharmacokinetic criteria. <P>SOLUTION: The present disclosure provides an antimicrobial lubricious coating including: an alcohol to be selected from the group consisting of ethanol, denatured alcohol, and combinations thereof; an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer; a hydrophilic polymer other than the isocyanate-terminated prepolymer; and at least one antimicrobial agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
