<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve and a power steering device ensuring a required flow rate without making the check valve to large size. <P>SOLUTION: The check valve has a valve element stored in a housing; and a seat surface for performing sealing of an operation oil by abutting it on the valve element.
