<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a square battery with a cooling pipe capable of being simply installed, while enhancing heat efficiency by making thin a cooling pipe installed under a battery block, and to effectively prevent damage to the cooling pipe caused by the load of the battery block. <P>SOLUTION: A battery system includes: a battery block 3 formed by fixing a plurality of square batteries in a stack with a battery holder 4; a cooling pipe 6 arranged on the bottom surface of the battery block 3 and cooling the battery block 3 from the bottom; and a refrigerant supply device 7 supplying a refrigerant to the cooling pipe. The cooling pipe 6 includes a meandering part 6X formed by connecting both ends of a plurality of parallel piping parts 6Aa that are arranged parallel within the horizontal plane with U-shape bent parts 6B. The battery system arranges the meandering part 6X on the lower surface of the battery block 3, and the U-shape bent parts 6B are arranged at the end part on the lower surface of the battery block 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
