PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal having excellent operability, and its information recording control method by which a user can use information records easily and simply at a talking mode or a standby mode. SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal comprising a first unit (100), a second unit (200), and a movable connection means (300) for changing a relative position between the first unit and the second unit in an electrically connected state to each other comprises: an information storage means (120) for recording information; unit position detection means (112, 113) each detecting the displacement of relative position between the first unit and the second unit; and controllers (117, 118) each changing an information recording operation to the information storage means depending on whether the line is in a standby mode or in a talking mode when the relative displacement is effected in a predetermined change.
