PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of effectively utilizing leak light in a switch key. SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes: an optical device which forms an optical image by modulating luminous flux emitted from a light source according to image information, and projects the optical image; a switch circuit board 30 on which a tact switch 32 pushed to output a prescribed signal is mounted; a switch key 21 which has translucency, is disposed to face the tact switch 32 and presses the tact switch 32; and an upper housing 12 which has a hole for a switch 123 for exposing the switch key 21 to the outside, and inside which the switch key 21, the switch circuit board 30 and the optical device are housed. The switch key 21 guides the leak light in the optical device and radiates the guided leak light to the outside of the upper housing 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
