PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high working accuracy and an excellent tool life by improving tip processing performance and reducing cutting resistance. SOLUTION: The throw-away tip is provided with: inclined surfaces 8 arranged in cutting faces 2 of a tip main body 1 having a pair of cutting edges 6a, 6b across a corner part 5 in the edge ridge part 4 and formed to gradually retreat in a tip thickness direction as moving away from an edge ridge part 4; breaker bottom surfaces 9 extending from the inclined surfaces 8 in a direction perpendicular to the tip thickness direction; breaker protrusions 10 gradually bulging out exceeding a height of cutting edge 6 from the breaker bottom surface 9 in the tip thickness direction and protruding toward the corner part 5 in a plane vision; breaker walls 11 gradually bulging out from the breaker bottom surface 9, exceeding a height of the breaker protrusion 10 in the tip thickness direction, extending from at least a terminal end side part of the breaker protrusion 10 outward and continuing to around the cutting edge 6 in the plane vision; and flat surfaces 12 extending from the breaker wall 11 in the direction perpendicular to the tip thickness direction.
