PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which can simply customize or expand an application and can provide an application execution environment having high robustness, an image processor, an application execution method and an application execution program therefor. SOLUTION: An information processor 200 achieves a function of one application AP by cooperatively operating an input means 103a for inputting data, a processing means 103b for processing the data, and an output means 103c for outputting the data, wherein the information processor 200 includes: a first process 32a for operating application management software that manages activation, termination, or the like of the application AP; a second process 32b for operating basic application software 81 that achieves a basic function of the information processor; and a third process 32c for operating expansion application software 82 that achieves an expansion function to be added to the information processor.
