A method for controlling electric power for performing the efficient power control in consideration of moving condition of the portable terminal is provided to satisfy the quality of service by performing optimum power control. A data transmitted from a portable terminal is received through an uplink channel(101). The received quality of the received data is measured(103). A target SIR(Signal to Interference Ratio) is set up based on the measured received quality(107). A first control factor and a second control factor are obtained based on the motion estimation obtained based on the location information of the portable terminal. The set up SIR target lice based on the motion estimation of the portable terminal is compensated. |
