Horizontal drain equipment for ground improvement is provided to prevent that the air is formed inside the horizontal drain pipe in an intercepting drain system, thereby ensuring smooth drainage. Horizontal drain equipment for ground improvement comprises a soft layer(100) in which water permeable layer(200) is applied on the top, and a vertical drain member(10) installed inside the soft layer. Extra pore water inside the soft layer comes up and stays by the weight of a weight layer(300) formed on the upper side of the permeable layer. Then the extra pore water staying in the water permeable layer is collected in a water tank(30) through a horizontal drain member(20) which is horizontally buried in the permeable layer. And then, the water collected in the water tank is drained through a single horizontal drain pipe(40) connected to a drain part(31) formed on the ground by the pumping force of a pump(50) connected to the horizontal drain pipe. In the water tank, a float(32) is equipped to move up and down depending on the water level so as to block the drain part of the water tank after completion of drainage. |
