<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of administering vascular targeting agents (particularly a tubulin binding agent) for treating malignant or nonmalignant vascular proliferative diseases in ocular tissues. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to administration of vascular targeting agents, particularly the tubulin binding agent, for treating ocular neovascularization, ocular tumors, and conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of premature baby, retinoblastoma and macular degeneration. The method provided for treating ocular diseases involves the following processes: (a) a process of preparing medication including a pharmacologically effective dosage of the tubulin binding agent and (b) a process of administering the pharmacologically effective dosage to a subject requiring the treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
