<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of water-proofing a splice portion of a wire harness. <P>SOLUTION: A water-proofing method includes: applying an uncured photocuring silicone resin to a splice portion placed on the upper surface of an insulation resin sheet where an adhesive agent is applied, to core wire exposing portions on both sides of the splice portion and to an insulation covering portion of a portion adjacent to the core wire exposing portion; winding the insulation resin sheet so as to surround the core wire exposing portion, the insulation covering portion and the photocuring silicone resin, and fixing the insulation resin sheet with the adhesive agent in a winding state; and irradiating the wound insulation resin sheet with light through both end openings of the length direction to cure the photocuring silicone resin and preventing the flow of the uncured photocuring silicon resin through the both end openings, and then naturally curing the photocuring silicone resin in the inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
