<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal transmitter, an image signal receiver and an image signal transmission system capable of reducing the number of signal lines and capable of corresponding to a change of the number of gradation bits of an image signal. <P>SOLUTION: This image signal transmitter 10 relative to one execution mode includes a packer 11 for receiving an image signal, a sync signal and a data enable signal and for generating a plurality of packet signals by packet-processing the image signal and the sync signal based on the data enable signal with the number of bytes of packet corresponding to the number of gradation bits of the image signal, an encode section 15 for generating a plurality of encode packet signals by encoding the plurality of packet signals, and a serializer 14 for generating serial packet signals by parallel-serial converting the plurality of encode packet signals. The packer 11 generates a control signal containing a pulse having a pulse width corresponding to the number of bytes of the packet, and the encode section 15 encodes a part of the packet signal corresponding to the pulse in the control signal from the packer differently from other part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
