<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of making linear velocity of a transfer object medium and an image bearing body coincide without receiving influence of uneven rotation, when transferring an image to the transfer object medium such as an intermediate transfer body from the respective image bearing bodies, in a color image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus has the image bearing body 1, a driving means 100, a rotary shaft 110, and a coupling for transmitting rotation of the rotary shaft to the image bering body. The image forming apparatus is characterized in that the coupling is composed of an image bearing body side coupling 130 and a driving means side coupling 120, and among the image bearing body side coupling and the driving means side coupling, at least one coupling has a hollow cylindrical part 121, and the rotary shaft is loosely fitted in the hollow cylindrical part, and a difference between a hole diameter of the hollow cylindrical part and a diameter of the rotary shaft is formed larger than a difference between an outer diameter of a pin 125 for connecting at least one coupling and a driving shaft and a short width of an elongate hole 124 for inserting the pin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
