METHOD FOR PRODUCING TITANIUM OXIDE-BASED DEODORANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a titanium oxide-based deodorant having high deodorization performance.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the titanium oxide-based deodorant includes the steps of: mixing a ferric nitrate aqueous solution in a dispersion liquid of a titanium oxide particle in the presence of an ion exchange resin to deposit iron oxide of 0.01-5 wt.% in terms of Fe2O3on the titanium oxide particle; drying the ferric nitrate aqueous solution-mixed dispersion liquid; and heat-treating the obtained iron oxide-deposited titanium oxide particle. The obtained titanium oxide-based particle has a granular or tubular shape.
