PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of responding to miniaturization while improving impact resistance. SOLUTION: The lens barrel 1 comprises a cam frame 5 having a cam follower 31 on a circumferential surface thereof; a rotary frame 3 having a straight groove 3c provided on a circumferential surface thereof in parallel to an optical axis O, in which the cam follower 31 is fitted and slid, and a projection part 3e protruded radially on the same circumferential surface in the vicinity of the straight groove; and a movable frame 4 having a circumferential groove 4e and an engagement wall 4f to be engaged with the projection part 3e within a predetermined angle range of the circumferential surface to relatively rotate with the rotary frame 3 and move together in the optical axial direction, and a cam groove 4c to be engaged with the cam follower 31 to displace the cam frame 5 in the optical axial direction. When an impact force acts on the cam frame 5, the outer circumference of the movable frame 4 is elastically deformed toward the outer diameter side through the cam groove 4c, and displaced so that the circumferential groove 4e and the engagement wall 4f bit into the projection part 3e to prevent the disengagement of the projection part 3e.
