OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM FOR DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check if an article is stored or not at a half-opened position of a door and prevent the automatically opened door from colliding with a person near by. SOLUTION: A collective storage device 1 is composed by arranging a plurality of storage unit 1. The individual storage unit 1 is composed of a storage unit body 3 forming the main body, a locking implement 6 having a locking part 5 provided at an edge of an opening part 4 of the storage unit body 3, a door 9 pivotally connected to the edge of the opening part 4 and also freely closing the opening part 4, and a locked part 8 disposed on the door 9 and engaging the locking part 5 when the door 9 is closed. The storage unit 1 has a driving part 10 for opening the door 9 when releasing the engagement of the locking part 5 and the locked part 8 while a control means 11 is provided for stopping the door 9 at the half-opened position established between the closed position and the fully-opened position when the door 9 is opened by a force applied through the driving part 10.
