PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of reducing time and labor of maintenance such as cleaning of a filter arranged in a dust collecting part. SOLUTION: The dust collecting part 2 includes: a suction port 7 communicating with a suction air inlet 6; a filter 14 set at the outlet of the dust collecting part 2; a partition wall 42 to partition a space between the suction port 7 of the dust collecting part 2 and the filter 14; a disposable filter 15 set on the upstream side of the partition wall 42; a first dust collecting chamber 44 formed between the suction port 7 and the partition wall 42 to remove dust by the disposable filter 15; a second dust collecting chamber 45 formed in a space between the partition wall 42 and the filter 14 to remove dust passed the first dust collecting chamber 44 by the filter 14; and an opening part 9 to open upon disposing dust collected into the first dust collecting chamber 44 and the disposable filter 15.
