A vehicle seat turning device is provided to automatically turn a seat according to a vehicle direction when backup is generated during a seat mounting operation using an automated robot. A vehicle seat turning device(1) includes a base frame(3), a base plate(5), a turning unit, a seat plate(20), and a seat rollback preventing means(40). The base frame is set on the floor of a workplace. The base plate is located on the base frame. The turning unit turns a rotating axis by a predetermined angle according to an operation of a cylinder(13). The seat plate is turned by the rotating axis of the turning unit. The seat rollback preventing means is attached to the back of the seat plate to prevent a seat fixed onto the seat plate from rollback.
