<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color liquid crystal panel which facilitates the exchange of a semiconductor integrated circuit chip and is high in a contrast ratio by forming an organic resin layer the surface of which is approximately flat to a portion which is a portion of an active substrate and corresponds to a counter substrate and a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: The active substrate 11 includes a switching element 15, a scanning line 16 and signal line which are electric wiring for transmitting electric signals to the switching element 15, the organic resin layer 18 formed in the position corresponding to the counter substrate 12, the semiconductor integrated circuit chip 19 for supplying the electric signals to the switching element 15 and a pixel electrode 20 formed on the organic resin layer 18 and connected to the switching element 15. The portion of the organic resin layer 18 where the pixel electrode 20 is formed is approximately flat. The semiconductor integrated circuit chip 19 is packaged to the portion where the organic resin layer 18 is not formed.</p> |
