<p>There is described a refrigeration apparatus including a refrigeration unit (3), the refrigeration unit having an evaporator (15), a condenser (14), and a compressor (13) operable to draw refrigerant from the evaporator and deliver it to the condenser. The refrigeration unit (3) further comprises a fan (12) operable to establish an airflow over the condenser (14), and a self-cleaning filter assembly (18) for removing particles from the airflow upstream of the condenser (14). The filter assembly (18) comprises a pair of rollers (25,26) mounted to a frame, an endless belt of filter material (31) passing closely round the rollers, and drive means (27) operable to rotate the rollers. Cleaning means are positioned to engage the filter material (31) to remove particles from the filter material.</p> |
