A method and an apparatus for estimating jetting stability of ink for color filter are provided to evaluate the stability of an ink material quantitatively before applying the ink material to color filter manufacturing process. A method for estimating jetting stability of ink for color filter comprises a first step of discharging ink onto the top of a substrate to form a first pattern consisting of a series of droplets, a second step of discharging ink onto the location apart from the first pattern to a second pattern consisting of a series of droplets, a third step of calculating the respective first and second pattern coordinates from the droplets formed in the start range of the first and second patterns, and a fourth step of comparing the calculated fist and second pattern coordinates.
