An illumination sensor device is provided to control the lighting-up and lighting-out time of a headlight within a specified range according to the taste of a user. An illumination sensor device(1) is installed in a crash pad(2) to control the lighting-up and lighting-out time of a headlight by receiving the light around a vehicle. The illuminance sensor device includes a housing(3), a light receiving diode(7), a PCB substrate(6), a transparent cover member(4), and a convex lens(8). The housing is fixed in the crash pad. The light receiving diode receives the light inputted from the front of the housing. The light receiving diode is installed in the housing. The PCB substrate is connected to the light receiving diode. The cover member is mounted to control the distance from the housing. The convex lens is installed inside the cover member. The convex lens concentrates the light from the outside on the light receiving diode.
