Standstill control of an utility vehicle

The method involves resetting a commercial motor vehicle by influence of a drive on stop of the vehicle, in an operating mode based on a driving condition of the motor vehicle. A driving power and/or drive torque are affected by a regulating unit (30). A driving condition is derived from different physical dimensions, and is determined based on driving speed and/or driving direction. The condition is computed from speed, position and/or acceleration of the motor vehicle. The condition is detected by additional sensors, acceleration sensors and/or distance measuring instruments.
