METHOD FOR EVALUATING SAFETY OF VESSEL CARRYING RADIOACTIVE WASTE

A method for evaluating safety of a carrying ship is provided to derive an optimum carrying condition by evaluating radiation exposure and degree of danger according to property of a carrying container. A carrying container is selected according to a kind of a radioactive waste(S11). A carrying ship is selected based on a radiation amount and a carrying amount of the carrying container(S12). One or more carrying routes between a starting point and a destination are selected(S13). A simulated carrying is performed according to the selected carrying route(S14). A safety evaluation is performed based on a result of the simulated carrying(S15). A safety evaluation result data is stored(S17). An optimum carrying condition is selected by comparing the stored data(S18,S19). The stored data includes a data obtained through the real carrying.
