A backlight device for an ignition button of a vehicle is provided to improve quality of lighting of an ignition button by preventing a light leakage phenomenon being generated efficiently between a cap and a chrome ring. A backlight device for an ignition button of a vehicle comprises the followings: a chrome ring(10) expressing a metal color phase; a cap(12) in which a letter and an indicator are indicated; a printed circuit board(16) controlling lighting; a slider(14) combined on a rear side of the cap; and a housing in which the printed circuit board and the slider are mounted. An end of the printed circuit board includes a reflection plate for character(30) condensing light to a letter part of the cap, and a reflection plate for indicator(32) condensing the light to the indicator of the cap.
