Disclosed is a composition and process for obtaining a paste product from natural cantera stone useful as coating in the construction field. The material obtained by said formula and process may be used as coating in prefabricated surfaces, such as plasterboard, columns, ledges, floors, etc. The present invention has the advantage of being applied over smooth surfaces without previously placing a mesh for fixing the same, the paste being further used for restoring cantera stone buildings (museums or palaces), monuments or any type of surface made of natural cantera stone. The paste product from natural cantera stone obtained by the present formula and process is easily applied and has the appearance of natural cantera stone, also being a material more affordable than natural cantera stone, since the manufacture of the inventive paste being carried out with wastes from natural cantera stone.
