A fuel cut setting method is provided to operate fuel cut efficiently by monitoring each driver's driving patterns and varying fuel cut RPM(Revolution Per Minute) and fuel injection RPM. A fuel cut setting method comprises: a step(S53) counting the coasting time corresponding to the reduction elapsed time from RPM culmination; a step(S55,S57) for moving fuel cut RPM at the start point of the fuel cut and fuel injection RPM at the start point of the fuel injection upward or downward as set correction degrees according to the elapsed time point of the coasting time and the operation of the fuel cut stopping the fuel injection; and a step for gradually moving the fuel cut RPM and fuel injection RPM upward or downward by repeating the steps to satisfy RPM normal condition after the coasting time elapses. |
