A car speed automatic control system is provided to reduce the opening degree of throttle, thereby decreasing the time for the shift down of a transmission and improving fuel efficiency. A car speed automatic control system comprises a navigation unit which can output the opening point, the end point and the slope of the inclined road; a radar sensor which measures the distance with the preceding car; and an adaptive control unit which controls the throttle and brake amount according to the gradient of the road outputted at the navigation unit, thereby controlling the car with the velocity higher or lower than the pre-inputted constant speed driving velocity set value.
