PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that since consumption of resources cannot accurately be predicted at an access point where the resources can be reserved before handover because the number of access points a mobile station is requesting the resources is not known, the access point cannot respond appropriately to the request of resources from a mobile station and thereby the mobile station cannot use the resources at the access point efficiently. SOLUTION: The mobile station examines a candidate of handover, stores the results of examination and records the access points at which the resources are already reserved by using that information. Subsequently, the mobile station determines the number of source access points for requesting the resources from the recorded information, and transmits a frame to a resource request destination access point along with the amount of resources to be requested.
