PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of performing correction in consideration of temperature dependency of horizontal transfer efficiency. SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises: a main memory 16 for storing first data indicating relationship between charge transfer efficiency of a horizontal charge transfer element of an imaging element 5 and a correction amount of an imaging signal depending on the charge transfer efficiency, second data indicating relationship between a temperature of the horizontal charge transfer element during imaging and the charge transfer efficiency of the horizontal charge transfer element at that temperature, and third data indicating correspondence relationship between a value obtained when signals from a front OB part are integrated and a temperature of the horizontal charge transfer element; and a digital signal processing part 17 for detecting the temperature of the horizontal charge transfer element during imaging from a signal from the front OB part of the imaging element 5 and the third data, obtaining the charge transfer efficiency of the horizontal charge transfer element at the temperature from the detected temperature and the second data, calculating a correction amount of the charge transfer efficiency from the charge transfer efficiency and the first data, and correcting the imaging signal in accordance with the calculated correction amount.
