RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To outstandingly enhance wear resistance without sacrificing grip performance, and further to attain compatibility of high grip performance and wear resistance. SOLUTION: Provided is a rubber composition for a tire tread which comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a diene-based rubber containing 70 pts.wt. or more of a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, (B) 80-150 pts.wt. of carbon black in which a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N2SA) measured according to JIS K6217 is 250 m2/g or more as a filler and (C) 0.1-5 pts.wt. of bis-(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfide and/or bis-(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)disulfide.
