PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document folder, with a cover, which can bind documents without perforating and does not mar its overall appearance while retaining a significant nipping force, and further, facilitates an attaching/detaching operation of documents. SOLUTION: This document folder 1 includes a cover body 2 and a clip 3. In addition, a nipping piece 34 of the clip 3 is urged in the direction in which the nipping piece 34 rotates to a release position from a nipping position through a closest approach position (the R2 direction of Fig. centering around a hinge part 36) by the elastic restoring force of the hinge part 36. Besides, an almost rectangular opening 23 is arranged in the cover body 2, and the nipping piece 34 comes into contact with the document 10 directly through the opening 23, when the nipping piece 34 is located at the nipping position. When attempting to draw out the document 10, a strong force works to bite the document 10 and, in turn, the document 10 is nipped by an extremely strong force.
