PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating supply syringe improved in the efficiency of cleaning work or the like by facilitating the detachment of a piston. SOLUTION: The coating supply syringe includes a syringe main body 2 having a discharge flow channel 403 provided to its leading end and the piston 5 inserted in the syringe main body 2 in a freely movable manner and having a flow channel 9, that supplies coating into the syringe main body 2, formed thereto. The piston 5 includes the piston head 6 inserted in the syringe main body 2, the piston rod 7 connected to the piston head 6 and the piston base 8 fixed to a piston drive mechanism, to which the piston rod 7 is connected in a freely detachable manner, and having a coating hose connected thereto. The flow channel 9 is reduced in the diameter of its part 903 positioned at the rear end part of the piston rod 7, has the pin member 10 traversing the flow channel 9 in the vicinity of its leading end part and is internally provided with a spherical body 11 freely moving through the flow channel 9 and capable of closing the part 903 reduced in diameter.
