PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more certainly separate leaves of adjacent seedlings in a seedling box. SOLUTION: The separator 2 of a transplanter is equipped with a support shaft 31, a separating plate 32 and a drive mechanism 33. The support shaft 31 is protrudingly installed above a seedling box transport path 13a in reverse transport direction of a pot seedling box T to receive a seedling P in the pot seedling box T transported along the seedling transport path 13a. The separating plate 32 is protrudingly installed on the tip side of the support shaft and the upper peripheral surface along the longitudinal shaft direction. The drive mechanism 33 is connected to the base end side of the support shaft and reciprocally rotates the support shaft 31 to swing the separating plate 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
