PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the change in the tillage direction of a machine body during the tillage. SOLUTION: A power tiller is composed as follows: The upper side of tillage tines (1) is covered with a tillage cover (11) and the right and the left central part of the tillage cover (11) is passed through a front wheel rod (14) for supporting a front wheel (13). The front wheel rod (14) is equipped with rotating members (21a and 21b) for rotating the front wheel rod (14) around a vertical shaft center. The rotating members (21a and 21b) are composed so as to connect with gripping members (23a and 23b) installed in operation handles (8). When either of the right and the left gripping members (23a and 23b) is gripped, the rotating members (21a and 21b) are operated to rotate the front wheel rod (14) around the vertical shaft center and the direction of the front wheel (13) is changed.
