Provided is a radio wave absorbent which shows return loss of 20dB or greater in low frequency at a room temperature and return loss of 15dB or greater at a temperature of -20°C. A radio wave absorbent represents an MnZn ferrite sintered material. The radio wave absorbent contains 45.0~49.0 mole% of ferric oxide converted to Fe2O3, 19.0~23.0 mole% of zinc oxide converted to ZnO and 28.0~36.0 mole% of manganese oxide converted to MnO as main components, and 1000~7000ppm of cobalt oxide converted to CoO, 10~200ppm of silicon oxide converted to SiO2, 200~2500ppm of calcium oxide converted to CaO and less than 500ppm of niobium oxide converted to Nb2O5 as additional components on a basis of 100 parts of the main components by weight.
