<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for smoothly starting communication with an opposite party in ad hoc mode while suppressing power consumption of a terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication terminal (100) is provided with: a first communication section (110) for performing wide band radio communication with another radio terminal via a radio base station; a second communication section (120) for performing narrow band communication with the other radio terminal; a message transmitting section for allowing the first communication section to transmit a message requesting the start of the narrow band communication by the second communication section to the other radio terminal via the base station; and a control section (130) for performing control so that the radio communication terminal is connected to the other radio terminal by using the second communication section after transmitting the message requesting the start of the narrow band communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
