<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method of an information display device capable of enlarged/reduced display in list display while taking advantage of an operation characteristic of a track ball. <P>SOLUTION: In this display method of an information display device provided with a display part 101 displaying a list of a plurality of choices 40, a control part 111 controlling the arrangement of the choices of the display part, and a remote control 50 equipped with a track ball 51 instructing a coordinate signal to the control part, the choices are displayed on the display part in a matrix array of N rows and M columns sequentially arranged from the upper side to the lower side and in the lateral direction; magnification is changed based on the coordinate signal in the Y-axis direction of the track ball; a cursor showing that one of the choices is in a selected state is moved in accordance with the order of the array of the choices based on the coordinate signal in the X-axis direction of the track ball; and the array is changed by the number of displayed rows in response to increase/decrease of the number of displayed rows associated with the magnification change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
