<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet ink set and an ink-jet recording method using this ink set, capable of forming an image superior in sharpness, by restraining generation of a white stripe by a printing method using an ink-jet recording head of a line method. <P>SOLUTION: This ink-jet ink set includes an ink composition including at least a pigment, water and a water soluble high molecular compound and an aqueous treating liquid for thickening or coagulating the ink composition. The ink-jet ink set is characterized in that the water soluble high molecular compound is a high molecular compound having a plurality of side chains to a hydrophilic principal chain and capable of cross-linking or polymerizing-joining between the side chains by irradiating an active energy line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
