<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting generator which accurately detects the rotation of a rotor and moreover, and is configured simply. <P>SOLUTION: The starting generator has: the rotor 3 comprising a plurality of magnets 6 on the inner circumference surface; and a stator 4 facing the rotor 3 and mounted rotatably in the inside. The magnets 6 on the inner circumference surface of the rotor 3 are used as a detected body for a detecting means detecting the rotation of the rotator 3. In these magnets 6, a first magnetic pole portion (S-pole) is formed at one axial end of an arbitrary magnet 6b, and a second magnetic pole portion (N-pole) is formed at the other end. The switching of magnetic flux at one axial end of the magnet 6 is detected by first to third Hall ICs 10, 11 and 12. The switching of magnetic flux at other axial end of the magnet 6 is detected by a fourth Hall IC 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
