PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card with display equipped with a thin display which makes display continuously even after power source cutoff, and a display module used for it. SOLUTION: This IC card 1 with display comprises at least one of contact type, non-contact type, and contact/non-contact combined type communication means, a semiconductor device which stores and processes the information acquired by the communication means, and the display 12 which maintains display for a definite time period even after power source cutoff. The display 12 is equipped with electrodes constituting a simple matrix on the inner surface opposing to a base material constituting the surface and the rear surface of the display. One of the opposing electrodes is formed on part of the base plate surface of a part mounting base plate 16 having an extended area more than the display area, and a displaying driver IC is mounted on the base material surface.
