<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which permits highly precise inkjet coating while drastically reducing an error of coating amount into an area surrounded with a barrier wall. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, an inkjet head has a plurality of ink-discharge nozzles which are arrayed with a constant pitch in the row direction or in the column direction of pixels and can discharge ink particles to a plurality of regions 20a surrounded by barrier walls 20, wherein, at least on barrier parts 20b of separating two regions 20a adjoining each other among the plurality of regions 20a into which the ink particles are discharged from the ink-discharge nozzles, flow paths 21 which are communicated between the regions 20a and allow the ink particles discharged from the ink-discharge nozzles to flow between the regions 20a are formed, and the discharge amounts of the ink-discharge nozzles which discharge the ink particles into the regions 21a are controlled so that the total discharge liquid amount of the ink particles discharged into at least two regions 20a communicated by the flow paths 21 becomes equal to a prescribed liquid amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
