BATTERY UNIT FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit for an electric vehicle capable of preventing itself or electric components inside a battery case from being affected by dew condensation.

SOLUTION: The battery unit 14 is provided with a battery case 50 comprising a tray member 51 and a cover member 52. Battery modules 60, electric components 61 or the like are housed in the battery case 50. A water absorption member 300 made of a material with a water-absorbing property is arranged at least above a place of the battery modules 60 and electric components 61 where adhesion of water should be avoided on an inner face of the battery case 50. The battery case 50 is provided with a cooling air guide-in port 86 taking in air for cooling the battery modules 60 and an exhaust fan 92. The water absorption member 300 is arranged at a position facing an air circulation part 260 formed between the cooling air guide-in port 86 and the exhaust fan 92.
